The Build My Kitchen team have been working on this stunning new Mornington Second Nature kitchen for a client in Newport Pagnell. The client had been recommended to Build My Kitchen through a friend and recently had a home extension to incorporate and extend the kitchen as their existing space was too small. The client was looking to create a modern kitchen with a touch of dark colour to make the space feel relaxing and welcoming.

After speaking with the client, the team helped to design a modern kitchen using the Second Nature collection, which provides a hint of character through its subtle design. The client was looking for a muted navy blue that has become extremely fashionable in modern kitchens during 2020. To achieve this, the team incorporated the colour Storm Blue into the design, while adding some soft greys on the worktop, which matched perfectly with the colour on the units. To elevate this design further, copper handles were introduced to the kitchen, to create a coherent piece with the copper Quooker tap and Moulded axis copper-based sink.
As the family had their home extended to create more kitchen space, a stunning curved end island was also installed. This gave the family a more social kitchen environment while also providing them with further storage space. The island units and its worksurface use the same design, materials, and colours as the rest of the kitchen for a stunning cohesive space.
